Reflecting on a Year as a Photography Duo: Laura and Aiden Perron

Aiden and I recently sat down to interview each other and reflect on our first year working together as the Calgary photography duo behind Laura Perron Photography. Over the past year, our followers have primarily heard from me on social media and have only met Aiden during sessions. I thought it was time to put him in the spotlight so you can get to know him better and see our dynamic as a team firsthand. We share plenty of laughs when we’re with clients and, admittedly, fewer laughs when debating editing styles!

This past year has been a unique and joyful experience for both of us. Working together has allowed us to connect in an entirely new way—not just as mother and son but as creative partners.

Aiden’s Journey and Future Plans

Aiden is planning to attend university this fall here in Calgary to pursue an undergraduate degree in Broadcast and Film. Earlier this year, he explored filmmaking through an English Language Arts project and fell in love with the visual storytelling medium. And, while I may be biased, I think he’s incredibly talented and just getting started. Who knows? Maybe we’ll add videography to our Calgary photography services in the near future. The possibilities are exciting, and I can’t wait to see where Aiden’s passion takes him.
