Celebrating success with Kiara

This past week we got to take a little road trip to Langdon Alberta to capture another 2024 graduate. Kiara is a force to be reckoned with on and off the softball field. If you can’t find her warming up her arm for a game, you may find her warming up one or two of the wind instruments she also plays in her high school band. She has worked hard to get through grade 12 successfully. We had such a fun time celebrating her success by capturing a few elements of her life that have defined this stage of her life. Namely softball and music.

The hamlet of Langdon has an incredibly picturesque community sports field. We amazingly had the place to ourselves for this shoot. It may helped that it was only 7 degrees outside on this June evening! Kiara was a trooper with her bare arms, while Aiden and I were bundled up in hoodies and puffy jackets. It was a blast having her mom and dad with us for the shoot. They were even happily put to work pitching balls and throwing dirt at their graduate at one point. Anything for the shot, right?

Kiara, we know your winning spirit is going to carry you far next year in your university endeavours. We wish you great success. We expect you to take the world of science by storm with your intellect and work ethic. Have a wonderful first year of study. Thank you for the opportunity to make these fun memories with you.

There is still time to book your 2024 grad session with Laura Perron Photography. If you would like to start a conversation please head to the Contact tab on our main page.
